What this is

Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) is a relationship-based framework that helps parents and caregivers make sense of what their child is actually asking for in a given moment: a place to explore from, or a place to come back to for comfort.

It's built on decades of attachment research, translated into language that's usable at bedtime, in the car, during a meltdown. It's not a set of tricks; it's a lens.

I am certified in Circle of Security Parenting. In our work together, we use the COSP framework as a shared map, so you can respond to your child from understanding, especially in the moments that used to feel impossible.

Behavior that looked defiant or needy often makes sense as an attachment need. We slow down to notice what your child is really asking for.

Older children read shifts in a parent's presence and responses quickly. Repair is possible at almost any age; it just looks different than it does with a toddler."
